Under the headline \u2018Impulses for a sustainable finance initiative in the county\u2019, mayors and managing directors from the region came together.<\/p>\n<p>Managing Director Markus Duscha from FaFin was involved in the conceptualisation of the event in advance in order to incorporate the experience of municipal FaFin projects relating to sustainable finance. After an introduction to the topic of sustainable finance, employees of Grafschafter Volksbank and Markus Duscha therefore presented very specific, practical solutions for the municipal level at the municipal breakfast.<\/p>\n<p>The participants then worked together interactively in a kind of World Caf\u00e9 on topics such as \u2018What opportunities does a sustainable financing initiative offer for our region?\u2019, \u2018What implementation options do we have for this?\u2019 and \u2018Who and what do we need for a successful approach?\u2019<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the event, there was a very positive mood regarding the opportunities offered by sustainable finance for local authorities and municipal companies.
